Effect of Brahmi Swarna Yoga on neurocognitive functions in autistic children: A review

Abstract


Autism is a developmental disorder due to some disruption in neuronal connectivity. In some such cases show
genetic back ground and some studies in animal models and studies of individuals with autism spectrum disorder
(ASD) indicate changes in brain volume and neural cell density in the limbic system, cerebellum, frontotemporal
regions one study documented hyper expansion of cortical surface area, which correlated with later development
of impaired social skills. Some studies are proven that cognitive ability can have an impact on social skill
development in ASD. The ingredients of the drug Brahmi Swarna Yoga are scientifically proven for its cognitive
and memory enhancement action.
